Mary B. Campbell papers, 1884-1892.

Papers consist of correspondence, a promissory note, and notes. Correspondence includes a letter (1884 Dec. 26) to Mary Bennett Campbell from attorney P.C. Bacon of Worchester (Mass.) regarding a dispute about the disposition of her grandmother's estate. Also included are two letters (1887, 1888) to Campbell from her cousin Frank Taylor concerning financial and family matters. Copy of a promissory note (1892) details an agreement in which Campbell will pay Miss Josephine Russell of Newark (N.J.) out of the proceeds of rent received on Campbell's house at No. 108 Beaufain Street in Charleston (S.C.).
